The lecture, the foundation of the professorate; but lecturing is not an innate skill. We must learn to lecture effectively. Trial and error is the most common method of learning to lecture, but this course is much more time-efficient. This course provides guidance in three major components of lecture:
- Imparting information effectively
- Increasing meaningful student engagement
- Using lecture time effectively for clear and coherent instruction
This course will take you approximately 5 hours to complete. A learner who explores the material in more depth will take approximately 7 hours and a learner who skims the course content will take 3 hours.
